We are performing two upgrades of the Networking Service(Neutron) in each region. This will occur in Porirua over two weeks starting on the 22nd April

Existing network resources may experience interruptions of up to three minutes during different points of the upgrade process:

Week 1

Monday 22nd April: The Networking API (Neutron) will be down for up to five minutes and changes to network resources may experience delays of up to 30 minutes

Monday 22nd -> Wednesday 24th: Routers will experience interruptions which may be up to 60 seconds

Wednesday 24th from 18:00 until 22:00: Compute instances may experience network interruptions of up to 180 seconds, once each week.

Thursday 25th and Friday 26th from 18:00 until 22:00: Backup days for compute service actions. We expect to complete these on the Wednesday 24th however have left two backup windows which will be notified on https://catalystcloud.statuspage.io/ if these need to be delayed. You can subscribe for email notifications on our statuspage for updates.

Week 2

Monday 29th April: The Networking API (Neutron) will be down for up to five minutes and changes to network resources may experience delays of up to 30 minutes

Monday 29th - Wednesday 1st May: Routers will experience interruptions which may be up to 60 seconds
